Job Description

  • IT Hardware Support:Install, configure, and maintain warehouse hardware including barcode scanners, printers, handheld devices, and workstations.
  • Ensure the stability and security of the warehouse IT network, particularly managing wireless networks for warehouse devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues promptly to minimize operational downtime.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements of faulty equipment.
  • Plan and execute hardware upgrades or replacements to keep the IT infrastructure current.
  • Maintain an inventory of all IT hardware, ensuring proper asset management and accurate records of warranties and maintenance schedules.
  • Provide technical support to warehouse staff and raise tickets to central IT for quick resolution of issues, preventing operational disruptions.
  • SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) Support:Train warehouse staff on effective utilization of the SAP WMS.
  • Offer ongoing user support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of the system.
  • Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end-users, ensuring clear understanding of test cases and expected outcomes.
  • Provide dedicated support to users during UAT, addressing any questions or issues they encounter.

Job Requirements

  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in similar industries, managing the responsibilities outlined above or equivalent roles.
  • Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL environments is an added advantage.
  • Fresh graduates with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 are encouraged to apply.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technologies, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), especially SAP WMS.
  • Demonstrated expertise and strong knowledge in supply chain management, warehousing, and distribution practices.
  • Knowledge of project management principles.
  • Proven experience in IT/system change management.
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in the local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken.
