Job Description

The Expeditor is responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods and services by actively monitoring and managing supplier performance, tracking order progress, resolving delays, and maintaining effective communication across departments and with suppliers.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, work instructions and KPI's.

Monitor and expedite all purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

Obtain and verify order confirmations within agreed timelines.

Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery issues and delays.

Maintain accurate records of order status and delivery schedules.

Collaborate with Buyers and Stores team to ensure smooth material flow.

Escalate critical delays or supply chain risks to relevant stakeholders.

Assisting Accounts team with resolving invoice queries in a timely manner.

Maintain awareness of potential fraud or irregularities in the supply process.

Perform any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Responsible for general housekeeping within the department and surrounding areas.

Work within the company's policies, procedures, operating standards and work instructions.

Maintain a safe working environment to avoid risks to self and others

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Qualifications:

Relevant experience within Supply Chain or Procurement environment,

Sound working knowledge of MS office package – word, excel and powerpoint.

Relevant experience with ERP systems

Ability to work well as a team member and to take own initiative,

Commitment to continual improvement and flexible approach to change,

Self-motivated, enthusiastic and committed to delivering HS&E excellence.

Experience:

Experience within a similar role preferred however not essential as training will be provided.
