About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Export Sales Manager to lead our international sales initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong technical understanding and a passion for building global business relationships. You will work closely with the Director to develop and execute strategies that drive growth, profitability, and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a business plan and sales strategy in collaboration with the Director to achieve company goals and maintain market leadership.
- Identify overseas market opportunities and plan participation in international trade shows.
- Manage and grow relationships with overseas distributors and key accounts.
- Serve as the technical interface between customers and the company to increase sales and market share.
- Prepare and monitor sales budgets, analyze performance, and ensure achievement of sales targets and P&L objectives.
- Provide monthly performance reports to the Director.
Qualifications
- Based in Thailand, with flexibility to travel extensively across Southeast Asia (approx. 50% travel).
- Proficient in Malay and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Engineering qualification is an advantage.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, with a track record of managing overseas distributors.
- Background in building and construction products is highly desirable.
- Strong network and connections within Southeast Asia would be an advantage.
- Experience in organizing and evaluating trade shows.
- Highly motivated, confident, and results-oriented with strong analytical skills and global business acumen.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
