What you'll be doing

1. Optimizing and maintaining extrusion and molding machines to ensure consistent product quality and high productivity
2. Troubleshooting issues with equipment and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime
3. Collaborating with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
4. Conducting failure analysis and root cause investigations to prevent recurring defects
5. Providing technical support and training to machine operators
6. Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
7. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience
in an extrusion or molding engineering role, preferably in the medical devices or similar regulated industry
3. Proven track record of optimizing and troubleshooting extrusion and molding processes
4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
5. Strong technical and mechanical aptitude, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
6. Familiarity with quality management systems and experience in root cause analysis
7. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
