A fast-growing medical device manufacturer is looking for a Facilities Engineer for their plant in Perak.

My client is a technology-driven medical device manufacturing company with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and operational excellence, located in Taiping (Perak). They are currently hiring a Facilities Engineer to ensure reliability, compliance, and performance of its manufacturing plant facilities and overall equipment effectiveness. This position plays a critical part in maintaining high standards of equipment performance and controlled environment compliance.
Your new role
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
- Monitor and maintain cleanroom facilities and critical utility systems in compliance with operational standards.
- Investigate equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and facility enhancement projects.
- Partner with production, quality, and engineering teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in equipment maintenance, installation, commissioning, or facility engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of cleanroom operations, HVAC systems, utilities, or ESD controls.
- Understanding of regulated industry standards and quality requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
