Facilities On-site O&M Engineer

Position : Facilities On-site O&M Engineer

Location: Malaysia

Experience: Minimum 2 years

Job Summary:

Responsible for the operation, inspection, and maintenance of data center electrical, cooling, and fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect and monitor data center facilities.

- Maintain electrical systems, including UPS, PDU, transformers, and generators.

- Monitor cooling systems, including chillers, CRAC, and CRAH.

- Check fire alarms, VESDA, temperature, humidity, and water-leak detection.

- Support facility maintenance, change management, and incident handling.

- Prepare inspection records and operational reports.

Mandatory Skills:

- Minimum 2 years of data center facilities O&M experience.

- Knowledge of electrical power systems and UPS/PDU.

- Knowledge of HVAC, chillers, CRAC, and CRAH.

- Familiarity with fire protection and facility monitoring systems.

- Knowledge of MOP, SOP, EOP, and change management.

- Associate degree or above; Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or Automation preferred.

- Proficiency in Chinese and English, subject to the client's language requirements.
