Our Client:
We are partnering with a MNC that specializes in Precision Metal. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Factory Manager as part of their strategic growth.
Responsibility:
- Lead end-to-end site operations including Production, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS.
- Execute a multi-year transformation roadmap focused on OEE, yield optimization, and cost-to-serve improvements.
- Shift the organizational culture from firefighting to one of accountability, ownership, and data-driven discipline.
- Provide high-level technical steering for advanced CNC machining (Turning/Milling) and precision tooling.
- Champion the adoption of Industry 4.0, including automation, digitalization, and advanced Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
- Oversee machine maintenance strategies and tooling design to ensure process stability and scalability.
- Full P&L responsibility for the plant, including Capex planning and operational budget management.
- Support business expansion by providing technical credibility during customer engagements and audits.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of leadership experience within a medium-to-large-scale machining environment.
- Deep understanding of CNC processes, tooling manufacturing, and industrial engineering.
- Proven ability to manage plant P&L, drive productivity gains, and improve cost structures.
