We are partnering with a MNC that specializes in manufacturing of Test and Measurement instruments. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Field Application Engineer as part of their strategic growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal system performance and uptime.
- Deliver training and technical guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Provide recommendations to improve quality, productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement of equipment performance.
- Prepare and present technical reports and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Optics, Semiconductor, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic knowledge of PC operations and relevant software tools.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
- Self-driven, responsible, and able to work both independently and in a team.
- Prior field service or customer-facing experience is preferred.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel locally and overseas.
