Perform safe, reliable and efficient operation of the HRSG, gas/steam turbine, generator, related auxiliaries equipment and balance of plant systems from outside the control room.
Perform start-up, operation, and shutdown of equipment, systems, and the plant in accordance with approved plant procedures and as directed by the Block Supervisor.
Monitor and record local operating parameters, adjust maintain safe and efficient operation. Report to Block Supervisor any abnormalities observed and as such be familiar with safe operating parameters.
Observes reports, troubleshoots, and correct situations that are likely to develop into operational problems or safety hazards.
Monitor the quality of all plant water systems and identify and administer treatment as required to ensure that facility equipment life, operational efficiency and environmental compliance is maintained.
Collaborate with other plant personnel, including engineers, supervisors and technicians to achieve operational goals, resolve issues and implement improvements.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Plant Technology, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant technical disciplines.
Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates from Politeknik, ILP, ADTEC, IKBN/IKTBN, Kolej Komuniti, or equivalent technical institutions are welcome.
Basic understanding of power plant operations or industrial equipment will be an advantage.
Willingness to work on a rotational shift schedule, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
