Manage & lead the accounting team to ensure the efficiencies of the day-to-day operation accounting & financial activities, such as GL, AP, AR, FA and Inventory.
Responsible for the overall accounting function that includes preparation of financial statements, budgeting, forecast, cash flow and management accounts.
Ensure budgetary controls, forecast & projections and monthly management accounts are prepared and reviewed on the timely basis.
Involve in accounting system implementation & enhancement, process improvement and ensure good internal controls are in placed
Ensure all operational related reporting, monthly financial management requirements and relevant Financial Reporting Standards.
Provide coaching and mentoring for subordinates and attend to any ad hoc tasks.
Responsible for timely tax filing and bank negara filing.
Manufacturing background (desirable).
Requirements
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
Previous experience with new set up.
At least 6 years (must have direct reports) of Finance/ Accountancy working experience.
