What You'll Do:
This role provides end-to-end accounting services and people leadership for the team supporting the assigned country's operations (team size-40 to 50). Responsibilities include overseeing complex accounting activities across AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger, while managing team capacity, performance, and engagement. Success is measured by timely and accurate service delivery, strong team performance, and high client satisfaction.
- Lead and own end-to-end general accounting operations, including month-end close, SAP journal and fixed asset activities, and monthly reporting, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-controlled delivery.
- Accountable for team performance against SLAs and KPIs, providing senior escalation and strong cross-functional coordination with business stakeholders.
- Foster strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of end-to-end accounting processes.
- Drive transformation project through active involvement in accounting projects, process standardization, automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strengthen governance through robust policies, controls, and documentation.
- Developing high-performing teams through coaching, engagement, and succession planning, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and digital mindset adoption.
Who We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 812 years of progressive experience in general accounting.
- 5+ years of people leadership experience, managing large teams of approximately 4050 staff, including team leads.
- Experience in a Shared Services or GBS is highly preferred.
- Good SAP experience, including GL, Fixed Assets, journal review, and period-end close activities.
- Fluency in Mandarin language. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking counterpart.
