Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage the variable expense closing by ensuring variable expenses are captured in accounting system accurately and timely on monthly basis.
Deliver high value financial analysis on variable expense against budget and comparable reporting periods to facilitate management decision.
Track Agency Related Expense and Marketing Cost against budget.
Perform analysis and prepare commentary on variable expense to Management, Group Office and relevant stakeholders.
Review and approve the variable expense request raised in Ariba and ensure the expense capture in correct GL code.
Work collaboratively with the actuarial team, business strategy team, distribution channels, etc. to continuously improve budgeting and forecasting process.
Provide support on ad-hoc request/analysis from management and other stakeholders.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accountancy qualifications.
Minimum 2 years relevant working experience. Experience working in Financial Services / Insurance will be an added advantage.
Computer literate with good proficiency in MS Excel and SAP are added advantage.
Ability to work independently and possess good problem-solving skills.
Ability to effectively interface with various stakeholders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
