We are seeking a talented individual to join our
Application Support Team for the Finance Strategic Insights Group, responsible for supporting the Financial Applications used by
Marsh FP&A.. This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
You can expect to be part of a dilligent team responsible for the management of the data governance of the financial reporting hierarchies and managing access to Financial Systems.
Finance Application Support Specialist
We will count on you to:
- Act as first line product support for the Planning and Reporting Applications and the Salary Planning Capture System (SPCS)
- Review and triage support items for other applications used by Marsh FP&A
- Monitor the Ticket Log, ensuring all incidents and requests are addressed within assigned SLA
- Prepare monthly ticketing reporting, identifying repetitious issues
- Deliver the daily, monthly and quarterly support activities as assigned, such as data copies, month end close, forecast close
- Manage all Data Governance requests and communications, partner with Data Governance team to review and correct issues
- Work closely within a small team of product support analysts
- Maintain training documentation and provide training to FP&A colleagues on how to effectively use the Financial Systems functionality
- Maintain existing process documents and templates and create new documentation as required
- Lead the ideas when it comes to machine learning and AI.
- Responsible for communicating complex data in a simple and actionable way
What you need to have: - Candidate should be a IT/Business Degree holder
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing applications for Finance Transformation projects
- Excellent Excel skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage, manage and influence team members and senior stakeholders
- Strong financial and business acumen and project management with exceptional analytical skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Ability to work with a global and diverse colleague base across multiple time zones
