Manage the full set of accounts independently for assigned entities, including preparation of supporting schedules, reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.
Perform core accounting functions such as payroll processing, cash management, and payment operations.
Determine Net Asset Values (NAVs), calculate fund performance, and ensure accuracy in fund accounting records.
Prepare and analyse various finance and operational reports for management decision-making.
Lead the coordination of annual external audits across multiple entities and funds.
Prepare audit schedules, supporting documentation, and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information provided to auditors.
Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings, handle local tax matters, and ensure timely submissions to relevant authorities.
Support compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal financial controls, including assisting with audit and internal reviews.
Assist in preparing required reports, surveys, and statutory forms required by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
Manage professional service providers such as fund administrators, banks, tax agent, corporate secretaries, and auditors, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
Support the distribution of returns to existing investors, including drafting of required documents.
Perform any other ad-hoc assignments as required by management.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
3 5 years of accounting work experience, preferably with external audit exposure in fund accounting / capital calls / private equity / fund management firms.
Strong technical foundation in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS) and IRAS regulations is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
Able to multi-task, prioritise, and perform under tight timelines with minimal supervision.
Forward-looking and proactive, with a passion for problem-solving and process improvement.
A strong team player with good organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting systems is a bonus.
