  • Serve as the Finance Business Partner to the CMO organization, owning annual budget planning, quarterly rolling forecasts, and marketing spend management to keep resource allocation aligned with business strategy;
  • Build and continuously refine the ROI evaluation framework for marketing investments (incentives, campaigns, brand sponsorships), delivering pre-investment business cases and post-investment reviews to guide spend decisions and budget reallocation;
  • Lead monthly/quarterly business reviews, identify spend anomalies and efficiency opportunities, and provide finance-led recommendations to the CMO and CFO;
  • Own day-to-day finance review and approval duties for the CMO organization, including budget approvals, financial review of contracts (commercial and payment terms), and PO governance;
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of marketing expense accounting, covering accrual management and cross-entity, multi-currency cost allocation;
  • Partner with HQ and regional finance, procurement, and legal teams to optimize expense management processes and drive adoption of digital/AI tools;
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and special projects for the CMO office (e.g., major sponsorship evaluations, resource reviews).

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields; CPA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is a plus;
  • 5–7 years of experience in FP&A or business finance; prior exposure to marketing spend management in internet, payments, or platform companies preferred;
  • Solid command of marketing ROI frameworks (CAC/LTV, incrementality analysis), strong modeling and data skills (Excel/SQL/BI); hands-on experience with or strong interest in AI productivity tools;
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and influencing skills, comfortable partnering with senior executives and business stakeholders; full professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin;
  • Adaptable to cross-timezone, cross-cultural collaboration; open to being based in either Kuala Lumpur;
  • Resilient under pressure with a strong sense of ownership; commercially astute and a fast learner, staying curious about new things and able to drive work forward independently in ambiguous situations.
