We are currently recruiting for a Finance Director for our Malaysia, Singapore & Brunei (MSB) cluster, to be based in Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Strategic management and direction to MSB (primarily Malaysia & Singapore) team to support delivery of key business objectives of Sales, Profit, Cashflow, Innovation & Market Shares.
- Business Strategy development / deployment.
- Process owner and partner MSB Cluster General Manager (GM) for planning process Strategic Plan, Annual Plan, Major Forecast updates and Rolling Forecasts.
- Lead MSB business partnering team and provide guidance and leadership on resource allocation choices and strategic investment initiatives on a E2E basis.
- Partner with Commercial & Supply Chain teams to shape and deploy Key growth levers (Innovation, Penetration, dComm & Geo-Expansion).
- Drive initiatives to ensure that the business delivers Capital efficiency and Margin Leverage through healthy Margin growth and Operating Cash flow.
- Owner of the MSB financial risk management and ensure the deployment of Good Commercial Hygiene and ROI culture.
- Work with the Regional Controller to implement a robust Control and compliance Environment in MSB.
- Collaborate with GM & Leadership Team (LT) to implement Strategic Projects GTM, Strategic Portfolio management, Supply Chain optimization etc.
- Work with Regional Stakeholders to seek alignment and drive business initiatives.
- Responsible for Performance Management for the business along with GM - Work Supply Chain and Biz teams, C&C and P&F hub to deliver MPRs, Business Reviews and Capital Reviews.
- Key member of Southeast Asia & Taiwan (SEAT) Finance Leadership Team (FLT) and own and drive Initiatives like Simplification, Talent Development and Cash management for business.
- Part of the SEAT One Finance team lead sites and KL Hub activities ensuring effective partnering to the business, cross functional collaboration, robust governance/control environment and effective talent management.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with ACCA, CIMA, AICPA, ICAEW or equivalent.
- Strategic Thinking, Leadership & Influencing skills.
- Experience covering end-to-end (E2E) P&L management & performance management.
- Demonstrated experience of building strong relationships in a Matrix organization.
- Demonstrate ability to work in a high pressure and fast paced work environment which involves quick re-prioritization and focus on what matters most.
- High level of Ethics, Compliance and Fiduciary mindset with an attitude for collaboration, Inclusivity and Respect for People.
