Job Description

TRIIIO Recruitment is the official recruitment partner for this role

About our client

Our client is a leading global consultancy group delivering specialized marine, engineering, and technical services focused on safety and sustainability across the maritime, oil & gas, and renewable energy sectors. Backed by a long-standing industry heritage, the organization provides deep technical expertise across worldwide locations, supporting global markets to keep operations moving today while solving the energy and infrastructure challenges of tomorrow.

Overview

Lead our client's core business systems across ERP, CRM and HRIS, including NetSuite, Zoho CRM and Sage People. The role combines business systems ownership and team leadership with a strong focus on finance-led transformation, business process improvement and change adoption across a global organisation.

The position is closely tied to our client's Digital Transformation initiative, ensuring new systems and processes are successfully implemented and embedded into day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the Business Systems team across Finance, HR, CRM, and project management domains, fostering high performance and clear accountability.
  • Architecture & Strategy: Own the business systems roadmap, product backlog, and future-state architecture across core platforms (ERP, CRM, and HRIS).
  • Finance-Led Transformation & Process Engineering: Drive end-to-end finance process redesign (Record-to-Report [R2R], Order-to-Cash [O2C], and Procure-to-Pay [P2P]), mapping as-is and to-be workflows while ensuring strict alignment with accounting standards and financial controls.
  • ERP Implementation & Delivery: Manage ERP implementation workstreams, programmes, and project milestones to ensure on-time, high-quality execution.
  • Organisational Change Management & Adoption: Drive people and business change management—including impact and readiness assessments, training, communications, super-user networks, and stakeholder buy-in—to ensure system adoption is embedded and sustained.
  • Vendor & Partner Management: Lead relationships with system integrators (SIs) and software vendors, overseeing RFPs, scope definition, statement of work (SOW) compliance, and delivery performance.
  • Governance & Operations: Oversee system integrations, APIs, data quality, environment governance, release management, support models, and knowledge transfer across business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

RequirementsNon-Negotiables & Core Profile

  • People Leadership: Minimum 2–3 years of direct team management and people leadership experience.
  • ERP & Systems Experience: 3–5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and managing ERP systems (such as NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics), with a strong track record in enterprise applications management.
  • Finance Process Domain Depth: Solid, practical knowledge of core finance processes and cycles, specifically Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P), alongside standard accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Implementation & Project Management: Proven experience managing ERP implementations, system migration programmes, or major business application rollouts.
  • Communication & Influencing: Exceptional command of English with the executive presence and confidence to articulate points of view, challenge constructively, and hold ground in senior leadership and cross-functional discussions.
  • Multi-Platform Acumen: Broad familiarity with adjacent enterprise platforms (CRM such as Zoho, HRIS such as Sage People, or equivalent) and how they integrate into core ERP workflows.
  • Process Mapping: Practical experience conducting structured current-state and future-state process mapping across Finance, HR, and IT domains.

Good to Have (Nice-to-Haves)

  • NetSuite Proficiency: Direct configuration, administration, or implementation experience in NetSuite (preferred, but equivalent experience in SAP FICO, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar tier-1/tier-2 ERPs is equally welcome).
  • Organisational Change Management (OCM): Formal grounding or experience driving people/organisational change management and cultural adoption (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR, APMG), as distinct from IT release management.
  • Professional Certifications: Accounting/finance qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA), ERP vendor certifications, or programme management credentials (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Technical Architecture & Data Integrations: Experience with middleware/iPaaS platforms, REST/SOAP APIs, data governance, and BI/analytics data flows.
  • Enterprise Architecture: Hands-on experience designing and governing future-state enterprise application landscapes.
