Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage timely and accurate month-end closing activities.
  2. Prepare management fee calculation for inter-company billings.
  3. Prepare accounting journal entries, fixed assets schedule, supporting schedules and reconciliations.
  4. Prepare and submit various monthly financial reports for management.
  5. Upload financial reports and pass reclass journal in IBM Cognos systems.
  6. Prepare tax computation, related parties transaction and contractual commitment quarterly.
  7. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  8. Check and approve staff reimbursement claim in Workday.
  9. Correspond with colleagues from other departments and respond to inquiries promptly.
  10. Assist with audits and liaise with auditors.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  2. At least 1-3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the real estate or property development industry
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
  4. Proficient in the use of financial software.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  6. Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulations in Malaysia
  7. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
