Finance Executive
Responsibilities
Play pivotal support role within the Property Business Group Finance team, with rotational responsibilities in management reporting, credit control, payment and tax operations, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, and building compliance.
Management Reporting
- Prepare regular management reports in accordance with internal management/corporate requirements
- Ensure strong finance and corporate governance processes are implemented within the organization
Project Control
- For property development projects that the Group undertakes, to support Project Director in monitoring the Time (Schedule), Quality and Cost performances of the project
- To ensure that project costs are well-managed and any anticipated cost overruns are duly brought to management's attention
Financial reporting and Tax compliance
- Contribute to the external audit engagement process by managing audit timeline, close liaison with auditors and prepare draft of financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial reports and submission of regulatory reports and filings
- Assist with filing of tax returns, reports and required declarations, ensuring they are submitted on time and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Operation finance
- Manage daily financial operations including cash flow forecast preparation and monitor cash flow position, coordinate funding arrangements with finance, project, and corporate teams, bank remittances, monitor banking covenants, hedging/swap transactions, guidance and communications with internal general ledger teams and relationships with Group corporate control partners to ensure satisfactory standards of reporting
- Tracking of building compliance licenses and contracts

Requirements
- An accounting/finance-related degree or equivalent professional qualification
- 3 5 years of work experience in a related field.
- Strong sense of business integrity
- Lively continual learning mind-set
- Analytical, good business sense with a keen eye for details and a good communicator
- Proficient in Excel and SAP system
- Must be a team player and able to work across multi-cultural/multi-functional teams
Advantageous
- Prior experience with Big 4 accounting firms and major real estate/property company.
- Professional qualifications would be an advantage trait (CA/CPA/ACCA/ICAEW).
