About the Role:
We are looking for a Finance Executive to manage the financial health of the organization. This includes overseeing financial planning, maintaining financial records, performing financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including aging reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation and up-to-date financial records for auditing and reference.
Budget Management & Cash Flow Management:
- Track and report on budget performance, identifying any deviations and proposing corrective actions.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity, and prepare cash flow forecasts.
Taxation:
- Assist in audit activities with auditors.
- Assist in tax planning, compliance, and filing activities with Tax Agent.
- Manage SST and WHT submissions and compliance reports.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of invoices.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies between receivables and payments received.
Others:
- Provide support ad-hoc projects & initiatives as needed.
- Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English required; Mandarin language a plus to support Mandarin speaking stakeholders.
