• Dotted to APAC CFO based in Jakarta

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Head to manage the complete finance function for our Client across Malaysia and Singapore.

The position will be responsible for end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and reporting, compliance, budgeting, taxation, audit, cash flow management and commercial finance. The Finance Head will work closely with the Country Manager and APAC finance team to support business growth and ensure strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Finance Management

• Manage the complete finance and accounting function for Malaysia and Singapore.
• Oversee accounting, month-end closing, financial reporting and management reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial information for business decision-making.
• Monitor P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital.

2. Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Analyse business performance, revenue, costs and profitability.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the Country Manager and APAC CFO.
• Support business planning and commercial decision-making.

3. Tax, Audit & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Malaysia and Singapore statutory and tax requirements.
• Manage external/internal audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors and other external partners.
• Ensure timely statutory filings and regulatory compliance.

4. Business Partnering

• Work closely with the Country Manager on business and financial matters.
• Provide financial analysis to support pricing, costs, investments and business growth decisions.
• Act as a finance business partner to the commercial and operational teams.

5. Financial Controls & Risk Management

• Maintain strong financial controls and accounting processes.
• Identify financial risks and implement appropriate controls.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regional finance guidelines.

6. Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and develop the finance team in Malaysia/Singapore.
• Coordinate with regional/APAC finance teams and other business functions.
• Work closely with the APAC CFO and Country Manager on financial matters.
