As our Finance Intern, you will play a crucial role in managing our cash flow and collections. This is a hands-on position where you will gain direct experience in receivables management, invoicing, and financial reconciliation within a high-growth tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Invoicing & Billing: Assist the Finance team in the timely issuance of invoices to MERAQUE's clients.
- Collections Monitoring: Support the monitoring of payment statuses and professional follow-ups on outstanding balances.
- Reconciliations: Help reconcile AR ledgers and ensure all transactions are accurately captured against bank statements.
- Documentation & Records: Maintain organized digital and physical filing for all AR-related documentation for audit and internal records.
- Reporting Support: Assist in preparing weekly aging reports and collection updates for management.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Provide administrative support for general finance operations as needed.
Requirements
- Final-year student currently pursuing degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookup and pivot tables are a plus).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) for professional client follow-ups.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
- Available for an internship duration of 6 months.
