Finance Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and analytical person to oversee and manage the Group financial reporting, cash flow and optimise the business value. You are highly accountable; complying with relevant statutory acts, accounting standards, and legal and tax requirements are one of the many things you have under your belt. We are a close-knit team, and we are looking for collaborative people who are a student at heart and a teacher in a team.

Here's where you will come in:

You will be responsible for the timely preparation and submission of financial and management reports, board papers, and quarterly announcements to Bursa Malaysia. You will also lead your team in working closely with regulatory bodies, as well as internal and external auditors, to ensure full compliance with applicable requirements. Beyond compliance, you will play a key role in reviewing financial performance, budgets, and variance analyses with a strategic and analytical mindset.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Financial Planning & Analysis – Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models; monitor performance against targets and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Accounting & Reporting – Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports in compliance with accounting standards.
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management – Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to support business operations and funding requirements.
• Cost Control & Risk Management – Drive cost control initiatives, conduct profitability analysis, ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and maintain effective internal controls.
• Business Partnering – Provide financial insights and advisory support to management and cross-functional teams to facilitate sound business decisions.
• Leadership & Strategic Contribution – Lead and develop the finance team, enhance financial systems and processes, and support strategic initiatives.

Requirement:

• Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 5–8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• ACCA /CPA /ICAEW/MICPA /MIA will have an added advantage.
• Possessing extensive working experience in a listed company reporting environment, preferably semiconductor design and manufacturing related. Demonstrated expertise in adhering to regulatory compliance, financial reporting standards, and corporate governance requirements. Adept at navigating the complexities of reporting processes, including managing deadlines, ensuring accuracy, and providing key insights to support business growth and stakeholder communication.
