Job Responsibilties
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting and finance department.
- Perform credit control activities and conduct periodic reviews to ensure financial health.
- Monitor collections, approve payments, and ensure adequate cash flow for business operations.
- Lead budget planning, forecasting, and control to ensure effective allocation of resources and cost management.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
- Provide strategic data analysis, financial modelling, and research to support senior leadership decision-making.
- Support project analysis, validation of business plans, and handle ad-hoc financial requests.
- Prepare month-end closing schedules, financial statements, and relevant reports.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify issues, assess risks, and recommend solutions to mitigate business risks.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
- Establish, implement, and maintain proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and accounting standards.
- Identify weaknesses and implement corrective actions to improve systems, controls, and processes.Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting and finance department.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 58 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting, with at least 23 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Salary Range : 9,000 - 13,000
