Role Overview

AYP Group is seeking a Finance Manager to support the organisation's financial operations, reporting, and compliance across Asia Pacific.

This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong operational finance processes, and adherence to financial controls as the company continues to scale. The Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance Director to execute financial strategies, maintain data integrity, and support day-to-day financial operations.

This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who is detail-oriented, operationally strong, and comfortable working in a fast-growing, multi-country environment.

KeyResponsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Accounting

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Ensure proper recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure completeness of financial records.

2. Operational Finance

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including billing, payroll funding, and vendor payments.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and collection of client payments.
  • Support payroll-related financial processes, including funding checks and reconciliation.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements across entities.

3. Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with local statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements across operating markets.
  • Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor queries.
  • Implement and follow internal financial controls and approval processes.
  • Identify and escalate potential financial risks or discrepancies.

4. Financial Data & Systems

  • Maintain accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems (billing, payroll, accounting).
  • Support system improvements and automation initiatives (e.g., AGP platform).
  • Ensure proper documentation and validation of financial data inputs.
  • Work with product and operations teams to resolve data discrepancies.

5. Business Support & Analysis

  • Provide basic financial analysis to support business decisions (e.g., cost tracking, margin analysis).
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Support pricing and cost structure analysis under guidance from leadership.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.

6. Collaboration

  • Work closely with operations, customer excellence, and sales teams to ensure smooth financial processes.
  • Coordinate with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and banking partners.
  • Support the finance team in driving process improvements and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 58 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Experience in handling full set of accounts and regional finance exposure is preferred.
  • Familiarity with multi-country operations and compliance requirements is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Experience with accounting systems and ERP platforms.
