Our client is a privately held organization operating at the intersection of software development and e‑commerce, delivering technology‑driven solutions that support digital business operations.

We are looking for a capable and meticulous finance professional to oversee the company's complete range of accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in full set accounting, financial reporting, taxation, audit coordination, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

This position calls for a proactive individual who can work independently in a fast-paced environment while upholding high levels of accuracy, integrity, and financial discipline.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete set of accounts, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and relevant supporting schedules, ensuring timely period-end closings
• Coordinate with external parties such as auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and company secretaries, including handling audit and tax submissions
• Ensure adherence to Malaysian accounting standards, tax laws, SST requirements, and other statutory regulations while maintaining proper records and internal controls
• Oversee cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while driving process improvements, automation, and supporting ad hoc finance and administrative tasks

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma, Degree, or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 5–8 years of relevant experience
• Strong expertise in full set accounting, including taxation and audit processes
• Well-versed in Malaysian financial regulations and statutory compliance requirements
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with e-Invoicing is an added advantage
• Demonstrated analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, supported by effective communication skills
• Experience in audit firms, SME or service-based industries, multi-entity or project accounting environments, as well as exposure to payroll, HR administration, and Mandarin proficiency for vendor communication is an advantage

Work Location: Kelana Jaya, Selangor (Please note that the office location is not within walking distance of the LRT station, therefore interested applicants are required to have their own transportation.)

Working Hours: Fully On-Site from Monday – Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (including a 1-hour break).
