Finance Manager

We're Hiring: Finance Manager (Plantation, Durian Retail & Export)

We are a growing player in the durian plantation, retail, e-commerce, and export sector, seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations and drive sustainable growth across local and international markets.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — Office conveniently located near Sungai Besi MRT and STAR LRT

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee month-end closing and ensure compliance with MPERS and local tax regulations, including e-invoicing.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to improve profitability.
• Monitor plantation production costs, retail sales margins, and e-commerce performance, implementing cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage working capital, cash flow, supplier payments, and customer collections.
• Support online sales, e-commerce platforms, and export transactions with proper financial controls.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Provide financial support to operations, procurement, HR, and inventory management.
• Coach and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; professional certification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA) preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Exposure to plantation, agriculture, FMCG, retail, or export finance is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills, high integrity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with inventory, procurement, and e-commerce processes is a plus.
