Description
- Financial Reporting & Management: This role is responsible for all corporate accounting, reporting to shareholders, and managing the entire financial closing process on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Consolidation and Reconciliation: A key duty is to review the quarterly consolidation of different Business Groups and reconcile financial and management reports to ensure accuracy.
- Compliance and Auditing: The position involves ensuring financial compliance, supporting external audits, and taking the lead on all tax-related matters, including corporate income tax and new regulations like BEPS 2.0.
- Strategic Business Partnership: The manager will work closely with group corporate management and regional finance teams to manage budgets, monitor forecasting, and initiate process and cost control improvements.
- Project and Process Management: You will also be involved in managing special projects, such as mergers and acquisitions, and developing initiatives to ensure compliance with banking covenants.
Profile
A Successful Finance Manager Should Have
- An accounting/finance-related degree from a reputable university
- Certified CA/CPA qualified will be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of Group consolidation experience
- Prior experience with Big 4 accounting firms and MNCs operating within manufacturing or commodity trading sectors preferred
- Must be a team player and able to work across multi-cultural/multi-functional teams
