The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the full set of accounts and ensuring all account activities and functions are in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial analysis on outlet performance, Company Level P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
- Responsible for all kinds of audit and tax-related matters and advise and/or propose the correct treatment to the Management and accounting team.
- Maintain accurate and complete records for all capital expenditures to ensure tax allowances are maximized.
- Analysis and review of inventory levels at the outlets and warehouse.
- Ensure internal control, policies, and procedures are followed and financial reports are maintained in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard.
- Assist in the preparations of the annual budget and periodic forecast exercise.
- Liaise with the tax agent, auditor, and other regulatory bodies, including preparation of relevant schedules and supporting documentation.
- Review and update task-level descriptions and financial process manuals as and when there are changes to manage knowledge retention and to support/back up finance operation team members when required.
- Assist and lead following team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and manage the team performance to ensure work is smooth.
- Able to propose an improvement for Accounting System.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Professional Certificate in Accountancy/Finance/Banking or equivalent.
- Required Skill(s): Leadership, Communication skill, Analytical skills, Problem-solving, and Self-Driven.
- Able to work and deliver under pressure with high initiative, drive, and commitment.
- Knowledge of the Companies Act and relevant tax laws e.g. Corporate & Income Tax and SST.
- Required language for work: Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (able to read, write and speak).
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team and foster a culture of excellence.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and manage budgets effectively.
- Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and profitability management.
- Able to work area Kapar Bestari, Klang. (Nearby Setia Alam & Kapar)
- Candidate must be Member of Malaysia Institute of Accountants
