Your new role

In this role, you will lead the finance function for an insurance entity, overseeing financial and management reporting, regulatory reporting, planning activities, governance, and overall financial performance. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of reporting requirements, maintaining a strong control environment, and providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee financial reporting, financial close activities, management reporting, and audit coordination while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and governance standards.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and business planning activities, providing meaningful insights to support management decisions.
• Maintain a robust governance and control framework, including oversight of risk, compliance, audit matters, and service providers supporting finance operations.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across business, finance, external advisors, and leadership teams while supporting business growth, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
  
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 6-8 years experience in insurance financial or regulatory reporting
• Experience in insurance or financial institutes is an added advantage
• Experience in entity/finance framework setup is an added advantage
• Big 4 audit experience in insurance or financial services industries is an added advantage
