Finance Manager - Mandarin Speaker

Description

This is a full-time on-site Finance Manager role located in Jalan Meru, Klang. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role will also involve collaborating with other departments to support business decisions and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closings, audit preparation, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) initiatives to align with business goals.
• Manage and develop a team of finance executives/accountants.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and other stakeholders.
• Implement and enhance internal controls, accounting systems, and processes.
• Monitor logistics-related costs and recommend cost optimization strategies.
• Support the management team with strategic insights and performance analysis.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum 5 or 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 -2 years in a managerial role.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
• Must be able to speak , write and read in Mandarin
