Finance Manager

We're looking for a confident, hands-on Finance Manager to join a leading business in the social media and creative agency industry.

This is a practical day-to-day finance role for someone who enjoys being close to the detail: keeping numbers accurate, processes moving and stakeholders well supported. You'll be a key operational finance partner, rather than the person setting the overall finance strategy.

You'll likely have around 8 years finance experience and be part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

What you'll do

• Manage day-to-day financial operations for a busy account portfolio
• Own budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting and reconciliations
• Track spend, revenue, accruals and profitability, flagging risks and opportunities
• Partner with account teams on estimates, purchase orders, invoicing and finance queries
• Support month-end close, ensuring reporting is accurate, timely and clearly explained
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure processes are followed consistently
• Work closely with internal finance colleagues and senior stakeholders
• Improve practical ways of working where they make the team more efficient

What you'll bring

• Around 8 years relevant finance experience, ideally in a creative, marketing, media or agency environment
• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant status
• Strong commercial judgement and excellent attention to detail
• Confidence working with budgets, forecasts, financial reports and reconciliations
• A clear, collaborative communication style, with the ability to explain finance to non-finance colleagues
• The ability to manage competing priorities and stay calm when deadlines are tight
• A proactive, hands-on approach to solving problems
