This role is responsible for overseeing the full finance function within a manufacturing environment, including financial reporting, group consolidation, compliance, operational finance support, and team leadership.
The Finance Manager will work closely with operations to support business decisions, improve cost efficiency, and strengthen financial controls, while leading and developing a finance team.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage full set of accounts including month-end closing, GL, AP, AR, and cash flow management
Prepare and review consolidated group financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, tax and customs regulations
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities
Work closely with operations to support financial decision-making
Analyze operational performance and provide financial insights
Constructively challenge business decisions to improve profitability and cost efficiency
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
Work with ERP consultants on implementation, enhancement, and optimization
Ensure strong internal controls and system integrity
Drive process improvements across finance operations
Lead and manage a team of finance staff
Provide guidance and development support
Strengthen team capabilities and ensure high standards of performance
Minimum Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification (e.g., MIA member)
Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience
Proven experience in group consolidation and preparation of consolidated financial statements
Strong background in the manufacturing industry (food manufacturing preferred)
Solid knowledge of taxation and customs regulations
Hands-on experience working with ERP systems and liaising with system consultants
Strong analytical mindset with ability to partner with operations and challenge business decisions professionally
Mature, committed, and capable of managing a team with limited experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
