A Reputable Property Developer is Looking for a Finance Manager (based in Petaling Jaya)

This is a leading property development and investment group with a strong presence in residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Due to an expansion, the company is looking for a Finance Manager.
Your new role
As the Finance Manager, you will need to:
- Lead and oversee financial reporting for the property division, ensuring accurate and timely group reporting while delivering clear insights to senior management.
- Manage year-end financial statement preparation and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, aligning with strategic goals; monitor monthly performance against budgets and analyse variances.
- Handle cash flow forecasting and collaborate with the property team to validate financial projections.
- Ensure adherence to tax regulations, including SST, e-invoicing, corporate tax, and capital gains tax.
- Drive process improvements in reporting, budgeting, templates, and internal controls for greater efficiency and accuracy.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role, you will need to
- Holds a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, complemented by professional certifications such as ACCA, ICAEW, or MICPA.
- Brings over 7 years of progressive experience in finance and audit, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably from relevant industries (Property Development, Construction, Infrastructure).
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgeting and financial reporting processes for multi-entity organisations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of MFRS and international financial reporting standards, with strong technical expertise.
