### Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Finance Manager / Senior Accountant** to take full ownership of the Group's financial health, internal controls, and reporting. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will be responsible for rectifying historical accounts, streamlining internal financial processes, ensuring statutory compliance, and delivering timely management insights across all group subsidiaries.

### Key Responsibilities

**Financial Cleanup & Account Reconciliation**

* Audit and correct historical financial records, focusing on general ledgers, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.

* Verify Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and ageing reports; actively resolve long-outstanding balances.

* Reconcile and update the Group's fixed asset register to ensure complete accuracy.

**Compliance & Statutory Reporting**

* Review and rectify past SST, PCB, and corporate tax filings; liaise directly with LHDN, Royal Malaysian Customs, and relevant authorities to settle discrepancies.

* Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless reporting and clean annual audits.

**SOP Development & Internal Controls**

* Design, implement, and enforce comprehensive finance SOPs for procurement, payments, invoicing, collections, employee expense claims, and approval thresholds.

* Strengthen internal control mechanisms, process flow integrity, and segregation of duties.

**Financial Planning, Analysis & Group Reporting**

* Oversee month-end close and ensure management accounts are finalized within **7 working days** of the following month.

* Perform group-wide account consolidations across all subsidiaries.

* Lead annual budgeting, track departmental operational expenditures, and analyze budget variances.

* Develop financial forecasts, daily/weekly cash-flow projections, project feasibility studies, and executive management dashboards.

* Provide strategic counsel to the Group CEO regarding working capital optimization, cash-flow risk mitigation, and tax-planning opportunities.

### Requirements

* **Education & Professional Certifications:**

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Active professional qualifications (MIA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) will be an advantage.

* **Experience:** 4–6 years of progressive experience in full-set accounting, month-end closes, and multi-entity financial reporting.

* **Technical & Tax Knowledge:**

* In-depth understanding of Malaysian statutory requirements, including SST, PCB, and Corporate Income Tax.

* Practical experience in group consolidation and complex intercompany reconciliations.

* High proficiency in **Zoho Books / Zoho Finance** (strongly preferred).

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization.
