Role Overview

As a Finance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day finance operations in Malaysia. You will be responsible for balance sheet reconciliation, financial controlling, budgeting, contract and accounts management, and forecast reporting to the Financial Controller for Asia. Success in this role will be measured by sound financial control across all areas of finance, with reports provided to local management.

Roles & responsibilities

• Lead Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Ensure compliance with local taxation, corporate and other relevant laws applicable in Malaysia (including assessment of tax impact in commercial negotiation)
• Develop budgets, forecast, and financial plans for Malaysia entity based on research and data reports, including tracking of monthly, YTD achievements
• Collaborate with external parties for accuracy and compliance

• CA qualified, with 9+ years of experience in a similar role and more than 3 years in a managerial position
• Experience in audit, taxation, and local statutory requirements; knowledgeable in IFRS/GAAP
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Dynamics 365FO, MS Dynamics 2009, or Navision
• Tech/Software and Service industry exposure is a plus
• Lead finance team by mentoring and providing day to day support
