Description
- Financial Reporting - Prepare accurate and timely monthly Financial Reports for Group reporting based on IFRS. Variance and trend analysis.
- Accounting: Financial Statement Preparation complying with Local Accounting Standards requirements
- Compliance: Coordination of Statutory and Internal Audit, Ensuring Internal Financial Controls, accurate Inventory and overheads Accounting.
- Treasury: Fund Forecast, Working Capital Management, Liaison with Banks, and Forex regulations compliance.
- Budgeting/Forecasting - Drive Budgeting / Forecasting process and identify appropriate risks and opportunities to meeting financial performance targets. Continuously review and update key underlying assumptions. Analyse results and provide meaningful insights into the numbers and support business decisions. Liaison with business and upstream data providers to ensure robust information reporting system.
- Business Support: Tracking of performance metrics, Analysis of business performance
- Vendor payments: Ensuring timely payments to vendors as per agreed terms
Profile
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 6-8 years working experience in finance/accounting
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in Malaysia.
- Exposure to IFRS Reporting
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
