Position: Finance Manager
Location: Subang Jaya, Selangor
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Receivable and Credit Control
- Lead and manage the end-to-end credit control function, ensuring timely collections and reduced DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
- Establish and enforce credit policies, limits, and risk assessment procedures.
- Monitor customer creditworthiness and proactively manage high-risk accounts.
- Drive resolution of disputes in coordination with sales and commercial teams.
- Prepare and present AR aging reports and collection forecasts to senior management.
2. Trade Spend Management
- Oversee planning, tracking, and reconciliation of trade promotions, discounts, and rebates.
- Ensure trade spend is accurately accrued, validated, and aligned with commercial agreements.
- Partner with Sales teams to evaluate ROI on promotions and trade investments.
- Strengthen controls and governance over trade spend processes, enforce financial discipline to improve spend integrity.
- Analyse variances between planned vs. actual spend and provide actionable insights
3. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Support
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning related to revenue and trade spend.
- Provide insights on margin performance and profitability by channel/customer
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and working capital improvement.
4. System, Data, Digital Finance
- Improve data quality, speed of close and reports automation.
- Identify high-impact areas for automation and oversee end-to-end RPA implementation, from planning to execution.
- Leverage BI, analytics and AI-driven insights for decision support.
- Lead and support finance transformation and process standardization initiatives.
5. Leadership & Talent Management
- Lead, coach and develop finance team and build strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Act as a finance business partner to commercial teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, agility and continuous improvement.
- Support succession planning and capability building.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/ Finance, Certified Accountant or Professional Qualification such as ACCA, MIA, CPA.
- Minimum 5 years managerial role in Finance, with proven expertise in credit control, AR management and trade spend accounting.
- Experience in high volume, fast-paced FMCG environment; Strong understanding of commercial finance and FMCG distribution models – modern trade, general trade & distributor models.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP and trade promotion management tool is an advantage.
