Job Description:

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team. As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in managing Malaysia books, reconciliation, with the support of another accountant, and hopefully contribute for other entities as necessary.

What will you be doing:

• Handle full set of accounts and client account reconciliation;
• Assist in annual statutory audit, taxation matters and company secretarial matters;
• Perform accounting routine functions and monitor client account balances on a daily basis;
• Support on cash flow management, intercompany transactions and settlement;
• Prepare periodic compliance reports to BNM and Mastercard;
• Work together with other teams to continuously improve the quality of financial reporting and automate internal operational processes;
• Provide analyses and information in response to ad hoc requests from time to time

What are we looking for:

• At least 10 years of relevant working experience in digitized accounting environment with solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices;
• A proactive individual with the integrity, open mindset, and business acumen;
• Capable to work independently and lead a team;
• Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build the relationship;
• Interest in working for a fintech start-up and thrive on a dynamic working environment;
• Highly organized with good project management and analytical skills;
• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent ACCA or CPA certified;
• Experience in payment industry would be an advantage;
• Very proficient in Excel and data visualization;
• Ready to work flexible hours including weekends, evening and nights, when required;
