Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized, sharp, and most importantly discreet professional in managing company finances. This is not just a bookkeeping role; it is a position of high trust. You will take over the day-to-day financial mechanics, ensuring that our financial data remains secure, accurate, and confidential.

Responsibilities

  • Discreet Financial Administration: Act as the primary gatekeeper for financial documentation. You will manage invoices, expense claims, and vendor payments with 100% accuracy.
  • Cash Flow Monitoring: Maintain a real-time, simple dashboard of bank balances and upcoming commitments.
  • Compliance & Filing: Ensure all Malaysian regulatory requirements (LHDN, EPF, SOCSO, etc.) are handled on time and without errors.
  • Process Optimization: Look at our current manual financial tasks and identify ways to make them faster and more secure through automation or better workflows.
  • Confidential Record Keeping: Maintain a clean digital filing system for all contracts, payroll records, and tax documents, ensuring data is only accessible to authorized personnel.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a high-trust administrative role (e.g., legal or executive support).
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (P&L, Balance Sheets).
  • High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and modern cloud accounting software.
  • Excellent references that can speak to your character and work ethic.

  • High Mental Agility: You are sharp, you learn new software quickly, you spot errors before they become problems, and you can connect the dots between different pieces of financial data.
  • Systematic & Detail-Oriented: You find peace in a reconciled bank statement and an organized folder. You believe that close enough is not good enough for finance.
  • Resourceful: You don't need a manual for everything. If you don't know the answer, you know how to find it or propose a logical solution to the Founder.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with automation tools and financial software.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
