Your new role

• Support day-to-day Finance Operations activities, including Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, intercompany accounting, fixed assets and bank reconciliations.
• Perform invoice processing, payment support, account reconciliations and exception follow-up, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including intercompany reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, lease accounting and resolution of outstanding items.
• Maintain accurate finance master data and transaction records in ERP systems, ensuring requests are properly documented and approved.
• Support internal controls, audit requirements and finance policies, including preparation of supporting documents and follow-up on control exceptions.
• Work closely with Finance and other business teams to resolve operational issues, improve processes and support automation or continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in Finance Operations, accounting, shared services or a similar finance environment; exposure to the insurance or financial services industry would be advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Practical exposure to one or more areas such as Accounts Payable, T&E, intercompany, fixed assets, lease accounting, bank reconciliation or master data.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles, reconciliations, month-end processes and internal controls.
• Experience using an ERP/accounting system such as Oracle, SAP or similar, with good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented and analytical, with good communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work effectively within a structured, deadline-driven finance environment.
