Position Objective:

  • Manage daily Investment-Linked plans NAV valuation and unit pricing activities in ensuring accurate and timely completion and publication of daily prices; and
  • Work with custodians, bankers, thirdparty fund administrators, internal stakeholders, and auditors to uphold strong governance and seamless operational delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. InvestmentLinked NAV Valuation & Unit Pricing

  • Work with the team to validate daily ILP NAV valuation and unit prices processed by fund accounting service provider, execute ILP fund transfers, lead exception investigation, if any and upload validated unit prices to Policy Administration Systems.
  • Ensure controls and processes are in place and continue to be effective and in compliance with Bank Negara regulations to Investment Linked policies, Group Unit Link Business Framework and all related internal SOP.
  • Responsible in investigation, discussion and resolution of unit pricing incidences, if any, in accordance with Unit Pricing Error Escalation and Management (UPEM) SOP, representing Finance and chairing the UPEM committee meetings, when required.

2. Collaboration with Stakeholders, Service Providers & Banks

  • Coordinate with Investment Operations, fund accounting service providers, bank partners to ensure smooth fund operations.
  • Participate in periodic SLA reviews, issue tracking, and resolution of valuation or unit pricingrelated matters.

3. Support for New Fund Launches

  • Work collaboratively with Investment, Product, Actuarial, Operations and Technology teams to support new fund launches.
  • Provide input on fund accounting configurations, NAV methodology, pricing frequency, and operational readiness requirements.
  • Assist in ensuring all prelaunch dependenciesfund account set-up in Policy Administration System, static dataare completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Actively participate in UAT and data verifications for system enhancements related to ILP fund operations.
  • Review test scenarios, validate outputs, document findings, and support postdeployment verification.

5. Governance, Audit & Compliance Support

  • Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation, collating supporting evidence, perform walkthroughs, briefing or explanations of fund accounting and unit pricing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with BNM guidelines, internal SOPs, investment-linked frameworks, and audit recommendations.

6. CrossTeam Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Work cohesively with the team, sharing insights with aim to continue to develop better controls, and improving process efficiency together.
  • Support knowledge transfer across Finance Operations teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related disciplines.
  • 36 years experience in fund accounting, unit trust operations, ILP funds, or asset management.
  • Experience working with custodians, fund administrators, bankers or auditors.
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and understanding of investment accounting.
  • Familiar with regulatory guidelines and investment-linked valuation principles is an advantage.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Desire to manage, lean and improve processes with aim to achieve sustainable results.
