About the Role
- We're hiring a Finance Specialist to handle full set accounting, month‑end closing, AP/AR, and compliance support for our Malaysia and Singapore EASI entities.
- This is a hands‑on role with clear scope, supported by external auditors and tax agents — not a one‑person finance manager position.
Key responsibilities
Financial and Accounting Reporting
- Perform month‑end and year‑end closing, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain general ledger, bank reconciliations, and intercompany balances for MY & SG entities
- Prepare management reports and cash flow tracking to support internal reviews
Accounts Payable / Receivable Management
- Review vendor invoices and supporting documents prior to payment processing
- Prepare customer Statements of Accounts (SOA) and follow up on collections
- Reconcile AP and AR sub‑ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness
Taxation, Audit & Compliance Support
- Prepare schedules and data for Singapore GST submissions and Malaysia statutory filings
- Liaise with external auditors and tax agents during audits and tax processes
- Ensure accounting records comply with local regulatory requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in full set accounting or finance roles
- Working knowledge of Malaysia and/or Singapore accounting, GST, and tax requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics NAV) is an advantage
- Willing to travel to Singapore occasionally as required
