Responsibilities:

  • Cost Accounting global hub operation activities including inventory & variance analysis, standard setting, month-end close, account reconciliations and inventory.
  • Ensure that global inventory operations are conducted in line with acceptable financial policies and SOX requirements.
  • Provide consulting on inventory processes and policies and address specific business needs from cross-functional departments, including business initiatives related to inventory.
  • Test, document and stabilize new system releases, applications and solutions ensuring compliance with SOX and other applicable accounting practices.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics / MBA or any recognized qualification in Accounting.
  • At least 5 years working experience, preferably with exposure in multi-national environment / public accounting with good business acumen preferred.
  • Good understanding of Oracle ERP system, cost accounting and inventory financial processes will have added advantage.
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with common spreadsheet skills (E.g. Excel, Words, Power point).
  • Strong analytical team player with the ability to communicate well and good project management skills to lead development and implementation of systems, tools and processes in cross-department environment.
  • Results orientated and flexible to take on ad-hoc assignments as necessary
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
