About this Role:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data, supporting financial planning, and providing insights to support business decision-making within the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, high accuracy, and a solid understanding of financial and quantitative principles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyse project cost structures, pricing assumptions, and financial feasibility to support budgeting and commercial decisions.
- Prepare project budgets and financial forecasts based on scope, resource plans, and historical performance data.
- Monitor actual project performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and financial risks.
- Provide financial insights and reports to management to support planning, prioritisation, and decision-making.
- Maintain accurate financial records related to projects, ensuring timely updates and proper documentation.
- Support invoicing, cost tracking, and payment follow-ups related to project activities.
- Assist with month-end closing activities by ensuring project-related figures are complete and reconciled.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external parties (e.g. auditors, tax agents, bankers) on financial or project-related matters when required.
- Leverage AI and GPT-based tools to improve financial analysis, forecasting accuracy, and reporting efficiency.
- Perform ad-hoc financial, analytical, or operational tasks as assigned.
Job Requirement:
- Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or other related fields
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience including month-end closing and full set of accounts will have an advantage
- Good command in spoken and written in English.
- Good accounting & organizing skills
- Fast & effective : high accuracy required
- Able to work independently or as a team
- Have experience using accounting software will be beneficial
