This Finance Director focuses on day-to-day financial management, accurate reporting, and supporting strategic financial initiatives including M&A support and due diligence, while maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
This role encompasses both operational excellence and strategic financial leadership, serving as the primary financial advisor to the CFO and senior leadership team while managing critical external stakeholder relationships.
Strategic Finance
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CFO on capital allocation, investment opportunities, and portfolio optimization
- Develop and maintain financial models for business valuation, scenario planning, and strategic decision-making
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounting, reporting, and consolidation across portfolio companies
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support preparation of management reports, budgets, and forecasts with variance analysis
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of statutory audits
Financial Control & Compliance
- Implement and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard assets and ensure accurate financial reporting
- Support regulatory compliance and financial reporting standards across multiple jurisdictions
- Monitor and manage financial risks, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance requirements and internal policies
- Support tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements
Treasury & Cash Management
- Support treasury operations including cash flow management and working capital optimization
- Monitor banking relationships and support debt covenant compliance
- Assist in capital allocation decisions and funding strategies
What we&aposre looking for
A. Essential Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) with 10-15 years of progressive financial experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with consolidation processes. Construction, real estate experience preferred
- Experience in multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional financial management
- Proven track record in financial control environments and compliance management
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems, Excel, and reporting tools
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing finance teams
