Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (Manufacturing)

Mills Recruitment is partnering with a leading aluminium and coatings company in Malaysia to hire an FP&A Manager. This role focuses on financial planning, performance analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making within a manufacturing environment.

About The Role

The Challenge:

Drive financial visibility across the business by managing budgeting, forecasting, and detailed analysis of product costing and profitability. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial insights to support operational and strategic decisions.

The Opportunity

Work closely with senior leadership, including the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Director and cross-functional teams, to influence business performance. This role offers strong exposure to financial modelling, scenario analysis, and commercial decision support.

What You Will Do

• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and performance tracking
• Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and scenario analysis
• Analyse product costing and profitability across SKUs, customers, and segments
• Support pricing strategies and identify cost optimisation opportunities
• Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business initiatives

Who We Are Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Qualification in Finance/Accounting
• 5-7 years of experience in FP&A or financial planning roles
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
• Strong exposure to product costing, profitability analysis, and financial modelling
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI is an advantage
