Where You'll Make a Difference

• Create winning savory flavors independently or with senior guidance.
• Modify existing flavors effectively without senior guidance.
• Work independently on mid-level briefs but be able to collaborate effectively within assigned teams to win.
• Participate in Category initiatives and Innovation Re-Imagine & Re-Master programs.
• Understand production processes for Process Bases including Reaction, Distillation, Extraction, Extrusion, and other key IFF technologies.
• Develop brand understanding for global and key regional customers.
• Interact with customers to meet their flavor needs.
• Assist Senior Flavorist with coaching and training programs
• Demonstrate early signs of problem-solving capability.
  
  

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a flavor creation environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Demonstrate good memories of raw materials with excellent taste discrimination and articulation of ingredients, flavors, and applications.
• Inherent curiosity to utilize technologies creatively and imaginatively and keen to explore existing and new molecules in new formulations
• Strong understanding of the creative process and its impact on cost and performance.
• Familiarity with flavor industry trends and IFF's competitive positioning.
• Ability to manage project data and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience modifying formulations to meet customer or business criteria.
• Good understanding of analytical methods and their use in the creative process
