Food Safety Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a Food Safety & GMP Specialist to lead GMP audits, sanitation compliance, and pest control programmes at a food manufacturing site. This role will drive food safety standards, audit readiness, corrective actions, and shopfloor capability building.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead GMP audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-ups.
• Manage pest control programmes, service providers, trend analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support sanitation programmes, SSOP compliance, and hygiene verification.
• Identify food safety risks, support investigations and CAPA, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Coach food safety personnel, train GMP auditors, and promote food safety culture on the shopfloor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of food safety or quality experience in food manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in GMP, sanitation, pest control, and GMP audit programmes.
• Knowledge of HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, or other GFSI-aligned standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and corrective action management skills.
