We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our automotive team in Klang, Selangor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move materials within our warehouse and ensuring efficient inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse or facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock management.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-5 years of experience in forklift operation or material handling.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks).
- Basic math and inventory management skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
